The Indians beat the Reds 8-1 Wednesday night, sweeping the very team that swept them last week down in the Queen City of Cincinnati.
The night belonged to Justin Masterson, who truly pitched like the Indians ace. He allowed a hit over the first six innings, and then another in the 7th and finally one in the 8th, and that was it.
On the night, the sinker worked wonders for Masterson, who pushes his record to 4-6 on the season. It’s the first time all season that Masterson has won back to back games.
