CLEVELAND (92.3 The Fan) – Saturday afternoon on a sweltering day in Baltimore, the Indians pounded out 19 hits and scored 11 runs in an 11-5 beating of the Baltimore Orioles to get within 2.5 games of first in the AL Central.

The team is now 3-6 on their 10-game road trip, and wrap up a month with a mark of 12-15, much better than last June when the team collapsed, going 10-17 as they clearly were falling out of the AL Central race.

Saturday though was a big win for another reason. Leadoff hitter Shin-Soo Choo put the Indians offense on his back, and in it went 4-for-5 with a homer, 3 RBI, and a walk, and is now hitting .291 on the year.
