Indians Send Struggling Hagadone To Triple-A

CLEVELAND (92.3 The Fan) – After struggling yet again Friday night in the loss to the Rays, the Indians Saturday finally sent a struggling Nick Hagadone back to Triple-A Columbus.

Hagadone has been terrible recently for the Indians, as back on May 26th his ERA was 1.93. Since then in 11.1 innings, he has allowed 15 runs on 19 hits, walking 9 and striking out 12.

His ERA in that span was 11.91, and hitters was hitting .380 against him.

“Lack of command, confidence too,” Indians manager Manny Acta said of the issues surrounding Hagadone. “It’s really tough for those guys to gain a lot of confidence unless they are having success.”

To take Hagadone’s place on the roster, the team has brought back relief pitcher Scott Barnes from Triple-A. While Barnes was in the clubhouse today, he will not officially join the team till Sunday as he has to…
